Interurban public transport remains free of charge in 2025

The Government of the Balearic Islands continues to guarantee free travel this year on regional transport for users of the Intermodal Card, as it has done for the past two years, once the Spanish Government has extended the state aid, as the regional government had demanded.
Thus, in 2025, all trips made with the Intermodal Card on the bus, train and metro of the TIB network will be free of charge. Users will have to validate the card both when getting on and off the bus and at the turnstiles on the railway network. Having a minimum balance of five euros on the card is recommended. Free travel with the Intermodal Card also extends to trips made on the Palma EMT network, whether or not they involve transfers.
Those who do not yet have the Intermodal Card can get it at the TIB customer services offices in Palma, Inca, Manacor and Alcúdia; at the OACs in Marratxí and Llucmajor; and at the offices in Calvià (Santa Ponça and Magaluf). They can also apply for it through the municipal offices of the town councils and telematically. More information at Intermodal Card.

The free fare only applies to trips with an Intermodal Card. Therefore, bank card and single ticket fares remain unchanged.
