On 1 June the 505 route, the shuttle bus connecting Santanyí, from the Na Ravandella stop, with s’Almunia and Cala Llombards, will start operating for the second year running. In addition, this year there will be guaranteed scheduled connections with Palma and Cala d’Or, by changing to the interurban bus route 501.
The timetables, available on the website tib.org, offer nine outgoing journeys and nine return journeys, Monday to Sunday. The first departure from Santanyí is at 09:35 hrs and the last from s’Almunia is at 20:10 hrs. The timetable is therefore longer than last year, starting earlier and with the last return journey leaving later. The L505 service will continue running until 30 September.
Furthermore, on 1 July the shuttle service connecting Es Trenc beach with Palma and Sa Ràpita will start operating. This route is serviced by the 530 and was launched in the summer of 2016.
The shuttle buses offer a sustainable alternative for accessing Mallorca’s natural areas of interest, which currently experience heavy congestion from cars. Consequently, the Regional Government of the Balearic Islands promotes the appropriate conservation of our natural spaces by making areas that are popular with tourists accessible to all of the island’s residents and visitors.
