Line 400 currently linking Lloret and Pina with Palma and passing through Ses Olleries, s’Hostalot, Son Ferriol, Pla de na Tesa and Es Pont d’Inca, is changing its route from Tuesday, 20 November to offer users a more direct route through Algaida and along the Ma-15 road. This change is expected to shorten journey times between Lloret and Palma by up to 15 minutes.
Besides having a new timetable, the new service will also expand the number of buses in the afternoons with one more return bus every day of the week. This means the number of buses from Monday to Friday will increase from 6 to 7 in both directions and the last bus will leave Palma at 21:00 (it currently leaves at 19:45). On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, the service will be extended to 19:30 when the last bus leaves Palma. This is an increase from 4 to 5 buses in both directions.
As line 400 will now pass through Algaida, it will provide a new connection between this town and Pina and Lloret and it will also significantly increase the service available for users travelling to Palma. The new 400 line will supplement the current 490 line services between Algaida and Palma.
This change in the 400 interurban bus service coincides with the start in the near future of the new EMT service of line 3, which is extending its route to Pla de na Tesa and will run approximately every 60 minutes.
