The summer night train service, managed by SFM, operates every Friday and Saturday, from 5 July until 31 August. The service, which was launched last summer, has new features this year. While the route ran between Palma and Inca last year, this summer trains go as far as Sa Pobla and Manacor, covering the entire route between these towns and Palma in both directions. There are a total of 12 night trains offered every Friday and Saturday in July and August, three leaving from Palma towards Sa Pobla and three from Palma to Manacor, with six corresponding services in the opposite direction. All the night trains stop at all intermediate stations between Palma and Sa Pobla/Manacor, including those on the Marratxí-Palma corridor, normally covered by the M2 metro line.
Trains will run as normal during the day on Fridays and Saturdays. The special night service starts once the regular daytime service ends, with the following departures:
Palma – Sa Pobla, departing from the Intermodal station: 11.15 p.m., 1.15 a.m. and 3.15 a.m.
Sa Pobla – Palma, departure from Sa Pobla station: 12.45 a.m., 2.45 a.m. and 4.45 a.m.
Palma – Manacor, departing from the Intermodal station: 12.15 a.m., 2.15 a.m. and 4.15 a.m.
Manacor – Palma, departing from Manacor station: 1.30 a.m., 3.30 a.m. and 5.30 a.m.
The aim of the summer night service is to cover more of our users’ needs, making journeys more comfortable and available during July and August. This alternative to using a private vehicle offers safety, comfort and peace-of-mind to our users.
