The sandy beach, which stretches for kilometres, is one of the most unspoilt and best kept in Alcúdia Bay. It is also public property. It is distinguished by fine, opaline sand, juniper woods – an exceptional case in the Balearics – and pine trees that fix a line of dunes that is unique in the archipelago and which runs for hundreds of metres inland until it meets the main road, where there are many ways to get onto the beach.
The area known as Es Comú de Muro is a natural area of special interest, included within the S'Albufera Natural Park and has a recreation area within it.
The water is transparent, either flat or slightly wavy, with fine, golden sand and is ideal for everyone.
It can be accessed at both ends using the paths provided, depending on the chosen bus stop. The marshes of the S'Albufera Natural Park are close by and various birds and other types of animals can be seen.
With these heavenly features, Platja de Muro - es Comú has a heavy influx of local bathers, mainly families.
The Platja de Muro is about 200 metres away from the bus stop. The Es Comú beach area starts around 700 metres away.
