Advertising and business - TIB

Today, all segments of the population are habitual public transport users: women and men, young and old, people going to work, to classes or simply travelling for pleasure. The TIB interurban transport network also has another very faithful customer who is a big consumer of the products and services offered by the Majorcan economy: the tourist. This is why the TIB network advertising platforms are an excellent opportunity to promote businesses. Get to know about them!

Advertising boards at the Intermodal Station in Palma

With more than 6 million passengers a year the Intermodal Station in Palma is the most important public transport hub in Majorca. Monthly use oscillates from 350,000 passengers in December to more than 600,000 in July. This difference is caused by the massive presence of tourists in summer who either arrive in Palma from coastal tourist areas to visit the city, or who are staying in Palma and go to the station to go sightseeing around the island. The Intermodal Station has a wide variety of advertising spaces for companies who are interested in them, with variable prices depending on the size of the board and its visibility.

Sales stands at the Intermodal Station in Palma

With more than 6 million passengers a year the Intermodal Station in Palma is the most important public transport hub in Majorca. Monthly use oscillates from 350,000 passengers in December to more than 600,000 in July. This difference is caused by the massive presence of tourists in summer who either arrive in Palma from coastal tourist areas to visit the city, or who are staying in Palma and go to the station to go sightseeing around the island. With a temporary (1 to 15 days) sales stand, businesses can make direct contact with potential customers to launch new products or services or to sell remainder stock or seasonal products. The stands can be located in a privileged spot in the Intermodal Station – the main access hall from the Plaça d'Espanya – which guarantees maximum visibility to tourists arriving in the city in summer and also to residents catching the train, metro or interurban busses on a daily basis.

Advertising on timetables

Adverts on timetables are great for reaching a defined segment of users who catch a specific transport route. For example, with more local businesses in mind, this is the ideal way to advertise the sale of a product or service to tourists as a large number of them exclusively get around the island by public transport.
