Duplicate card

The first issue of the intermodal card costs €3. In the event of theft, loss, damage due to carelessness or breakage of the card, the holder must pay €8 for a duplicate to be issued. The duplicate fee is not payable in the case of malfunction that is not the holder's fault.

Where can I get a duplicate card?

  • At the Information Point in Palma Intermodal Station
    • Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 09.00-19.30; Saturdays 09.00-17.30; closed on Sundays and public holidays.
    • Issued on the spot.
  • At your local town hall offices. See the list.
    • Opening hours: depends on each local office.
  • If the application is not made by the card holder a signed authorisation must be provided, together with a copy of the authorised person's DNI (or equivalent document).>>> "Authorisation for non-card holders to make the application"

What documentation is needed?

Card renewal

The following intermodal card types have limited validity and must be renewed:

  • Large family: is valid for as long as the large family certificate.
  • Pensioners: expires every five years, except in the case of the long-term unemployed which expires every 6 months.

Renewal is free of charge.
