The Consorcio de Transportes de Mallorca (Majorcan Transport Consortium) is working on establishing ways to compensate TIB users who have been forced by the state of alarm to reduce their journeys and who cannot make use of interurban public transport.
We are, therefore, informing users with 40 journeys on their intermodal saver ticket that we are extending the usual validity of 45 days to the new expiry date of 31 October. This compensation measure applies to all T40 saver tickets topped up from 7 February to 23 March, which was when the usual interurban public transport service was running for the last time.
Passengers interested in extending the expiry date of their T40 saver ticket must go to the information point of the intermodal station in person. Tickets can be extended at any time until the end of October. Therefore, we recommend users wait until they start travelling again to go to the information point.
Since Thursday, 16 April, the Palma office has been offering its usual in-person service. Opening times for issuing and renewing intermodal tickets and for any related queries is from Monday to Friday from 08.00 to 20.00, and from 09.00 to 19.00 on Saturdays.
The Inca and Manacor information points are still closed to comply with the health and safety measures imposed by the state of alarm. You can also contact us by phone on 971 177 777, on TIB social media accounts and the contact form.
