The Government creates a new TIB express line that will connect Cala Rajada with Palma as of Wednesday 11 June

The Government creates a new TIB express line that will connect Cala Rajada with Palma as of Wednesday 11 June

With the new service, Cala Rajada users will save around 30 minutes each way.

On Wednesday 11 June, the new TIB 411e intercity express bus line will come into service, linking Cala Rajada, Capdepera, Artà and Sant Llorenç with Palma.

This way, users from these towns will have semi-direct services that will reduce the current journey time to Palma, as it will not be necessary to change lines in Manacor.

The new 411e Cala Rajada - Palma service will offer eight journeys in each direction from Monday to Sunday. With the new service, Cala Rajada users will save around 30 minutes each way.  Timetable and route information for the new line is available at tib.org.
As for the 411 Cala Rajada - Manacor line, from Wednesday the service will also be extended early in the morning with the first departure at 5.40 am from Manacor.

On the other hand, the new Cala d'Or - Palma express service is scheduled to start in the last week of June. This year, the two express lines will start in June, but from next year, the service will run from April to October.

The creation of the new express lines adds to the increase in service that has taken place in recent months on the TIB network. These improvements introduced by the Government to the TIB intercity bus service, are a result of the changes to the contracts of the three bus concessions in Majorca, adapting the service to demand and the increase in users in recent years, 20% higher during 2024. These changes to the contracts have also allowed for the expansion of the bus fleet and the provision of all Aerotib lines from various towns and cities to the airport throughout the year.
