The Governing Council has formalised the Agreement ensuring the continuation of free public transport on regional services—interurban buses, trains, and the Mallorca Metro—throughout 2026. This applies to users with transport passes and multi-trip tickets.
This Agreement extends the 100% discount on current fares when using the Single or Intermodal Card on the TIB bus network, trains, and the Mallorca Metro. In these cases, the price will be zero euros in 2026, guaranteeing free travel, as it was in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Therefore, during 2026, all journeys made with the Intermodal or Single Card on the TIB bus, train, and metro network will be free. Users will have to continue validating the card both when getting on and off the bus and at the turnstiles on the railway network. Having a minimum balance of five euros on the card is recommended. Free travel with the Intermodal Card or the Single Card also extends to journeys made on the EMT Palma network, whether or not transfers are involved.
Those who do not yet have the Single Card can get it at the TIB customer service offices in Palma, Inca, Manacor, and Alcúdia; at the EMT office in Palma; and at the municipal offices in Marratxí, Llucmajor, and Calvià. They can also apply through the municipal offices of the town halls and online. More information at Single Card (Targeta Única).
Free travel only applies to journeys made with the Intermodal Card or the Single Card. Therefore, bank card and single ticket fares remain unchanged
