Move around with bank card

If you don’t have an Intermodal Card, your contactless bank card is the best option for travelling by bus, train or metro. It’s particularly well suited for people and families who are visiting Mallorca. Whether it’s a debit or a credit card, it can be used to travel round the TIB Mallorca network without having to buy a transport ticket first. You just need to validate the card both when boarding and when alighting the bus, train or metro. It’s that easy! Also, by using the same card, major discounts are available for groups of up to five people.
Validate when entering and exiting
Each member of the group must validate the same bank card when boarding and alighting the bus, and on the rail network to enter and leave stations. Attention! A penalty fee of €0.50 applies for each person who fails to perform this double validation.
Transfers
Up to two transfers can be made when travelling on three different lines (bus, train or metro), provided that no more than 60 minutes elapse between validating the exit from one line and entering another. Good news! However long the journey is, no more than four transfers will be charged.
Fare system
Our fare system works with a hop system. Each time you go from one zone to another, you make one hop. If the journey is within the same zone, the fare for zero hops is applied.
