The Consorci de Transports de Mallorca is continuing to add new bus stops and improve existing ones to offer an increasingly better service to users of the TIB public transport network.
A new bus stop is being built in s'Esgleieta, on the Ma-1110 road before the roundabout that branches off towards Esporles and Valldemossa. The work consists of building one stop in each direction consisting of a bus bay and bus shelters with seats and/or ischiatic supports. To facilitate passenger access, footpaths and a road crossing point will be provided to the platforms.
The 202 Estellencs – Palma line will add this new stop on the route to improve public transport connectivity between s'Esgleieta and Esporles, Banyalbufar and Estellencs. In addition, passengers will be able to change between the 202 and 203 Port de Sóller – Valldemossa – Palma lines, which will also offer services to the new stop, thus shortening their journey time, as they will not have to go to the UIB to change lines. The stop is expected to be operational before the end of the year.
