New winter timetables

Starting tomorrow, 1 November, the interurban buses in Mallorca will follow a new winter timetable, featuring improvements from the previous winter season. These improvements include extended operating hours and reinforced services during peak times of the day. The goal is to ensure reliable service for residents who depend on public transport for their daily commutes to work or school.

One of the measures involves reinforcing the trunk lines between the areas of greatest demand on the island and the city of Palma.

The 501 line, Manacor – Campos – Palma, now includes new express trips from Campos to Palma at 6:25 a.m. and at 7:45 a.m., and from Palma to Campos every 30 minutes between 1:45 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. Additionally, services between Felanitx and Manacor have been reinforced during secondary school start and dismissal times. This will increase the offer compared to November 2022 in order to maintain the current frequency of every 30 minutes from Monday to Saturday.
In addition, the 401 line, Cala Millor – Palma, now includes a new trip from Molí – Hospital (Manacor) to Palma at 6:30 a.m. On Saturdays, there are four extra trips in both directions, and on Sundays and holidays, there are two additional trips in each direction compared to November 2022. To maintain the existing frequency of every 30/35 minutes from Monday to Friday, an extra bus has also been added to the line.

The 403 line, Campos – Algaida – Palma, offers a new Campos – Palma trip at 6:20 a.m., and an articulated bus has been introduced on the Palma services at 3:00 p.m. and 5:25 p.m. to ensure adequate seating capacity.

The 302 line, Can Picafort – Alcúdia – Palma, has also increased its services compared to last winter, now offering a service with a median frequency of 35/40 minutes.
And effective the 1st, additional improvements will be implemented in other services across the network.

Another new measure this year involves extending the service of summer season lines into the month of November, including line 203 Puerto de Sóller-Valldemossa, line 204 Puerto de Sóller-Palma, line 232 Puerto de Sóller-Fornalutx and line 324 Can Picafort-Alcúdia.
